The city of Salinas is looking to fill some openings on the Youth
Commission.
The commission is comprised of 28 members selected by the mayor and City
Council members. The commission works on concerns dealing with young people and
makes recommendations for recreation programs. It also is a chance to learn
about and participate in local government.
The commission meets at 6:30 p.m. on
the second and fourth Monday of each month.
Applicants must be a city resident and between the ages of 13 and 18.
